A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

Title:  A Court of Thorns and Roses

Author: Sarah J. Maas

Review:

I would have to say that this is one of my all time favorite series I have read so far. I picked this book up after a little hesitation because of the first person perspective, but once I started it I could hardly put it down. When I finished I lasted all of twenty-four hours before buying the second one, it was that fantastic. I haven’t read a book in a long time where I relate to the characters as much as I did in A Court of Thorns and Roses. S. J. Maas is a wonder. The way she can make you viscerally feel what the characters are feeling, even in first person POV, is one of the reasons I love her work so much. Feyre is a dear, Tamlin is intriguing, and how can you complain about the shadowy and mysterious Rhysand of the dreaded Night Court? This book has everything, and you know you have found a favorite author when the only way to get out of a book hangover is to read another series by the same author. 10/10 would recommend.
