Please join us on Saturday, November 21, 2026 from 11am to 2pm when author Dennis Dauble will be signing copies of his new book Casting into the Twilight.
About the book:
How, exactly, does a fisherman grow old gracefully? Dennis Dauble offers his insights in this humorous and poignant collection of essays from his fishing life. Follow in his footsteps while he hikes wilderness trails in search of one more last trout, manages his expectations for steelhead, and is attacked by a madcap donkey. Learn what donuts, memory tests, underpants dreams, and zingers have to do with fishing. Share his thoughts while he casts into the twilight to retrieve memories of long-time fishing pals and beloved family members.
As Dauble aptly points out, the golden years are not always golden... but really all you can do is go fishing!
About the author:
Dennis Dauble retired in 2008 from Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, Washington, following a 35-year career as a fisheries scientist, to pursue a second career as an outdoor writer. He has a PhD in Fisheries from Oregon State University.
