A Long Winter by Colm Toibin

Title: A Long Winter

Author: Colm Toibin

Review:  A short, stark, yet tender story of a family's dysfunction, a missing mother, and a long winter. In what reads like a parable, the author tackles multiple family dynamics and brilliantly ties together personal isolation with the bleak isolation of the Pyrenees.
